Closeup of the dual couplers on the tender of the switch engine. The narrow-gauge coupler
is shown here on the left side of the standard-gauge coupler, although the coupler socket
is symmetrical and therefore the narrow-gauge coupler could be moved to the right side if
needed. All photos I have seen of #3 always show this locomotive pointed north, as the
common rail of the dual-gauge trackage is the west rail, thus the narrow-gauge coupler
is always seen to the left side on both front and back of #3.
