The East Broad Top RR had two standard-gauge switch engines to move cars around the Mt. Union yard. Both were fitted with dual sets of couplers to handle both standard-gauge and narrow-gauge cars.
#3 is an 0-6-0 and was the most recent steam engine purchased by the East Broad Top RR. After operations ceased in 1956, #3 has been stored in the right-side stall of the Mt. Union Enginehouse, and is in relatively good (non-operative) condition.
